I met Amber about 5 years ago in Lake Tahoe and we bonded over Jameson shots, so the fact that it was a theme throughout the wedding didn’t surprise me in the least bit. Ironically when I asked how she and Cameron had met, she mentioned, “It was a combination of his broken wrist and our love for Jameson.”
Photographing a wedding where you not only know the couple but know some of the guests attending is not only exciting but can be a challenge as well. Knowing this, I am so happy that I was able to have my talented friend Mallory Olenius with me who not only has a similar trained eye as mine but possesses the same passion and drive to do better with every click of the shutter.
Amber and Cameron’s day at the Twenty Mile House was exactly what I imagined it to be and more. Filled with love, laughs, shots, and tears, these two knew how to celebrate their love and party their night away! Their adorable little daughter Avery stole my heart throughout the day and the positive vibes from their guests kept me smiling until the end. I am so happy for these two and feel so blessed to have been able to be their wedding photographer. I have no doubt they will continue to cherish each other for years to come and cheers their love over many more Jameson shots!
